As a part of the curriculum at PNCA, each student is asked to complete a thesis project, a year long art project designed and carried out by the student over the course of their last year.For mine, I designed a short autobiographical comic, called Sprout. Sprout encompasses my experience growing up trans in a small town, and depicts my personal journey to healing and accepting myself.It centers around themes of kindness, growth, community, and the breadth of the human experience.
